What we fix

Real problems, real fixes

A reverse osmosis system pushes water through a series of filtration stages ending in a semi-permeable membrane that removes up to 99% of dissolved solids, minerals, contaminants, and impurities. The result is drinking water that's genuinely free of chlorine, chloramines, heavy metals, most pharmaceuticals, PFAS, and the mineral taste that municipal water can carry. It's the system used in hospitals, labs, and premium restaurants for a reason: when you want water that's truly pure, RO is the answer.

We install point-of-use RO systems at the kitchen sink with a dedicated faucet, typically with an optional line to your refrigerator for ice and dispenser water. Most systems are 4- or 5-stage: sediment pre-filter, carbon pre-filter, RO membrane, carbon post-filter, and (optionally) a remineralization stage that adds back beneficial minerals after the membrane removes everything. For families who want clean water without buying bottled, RO is almost always the right answer.

Most RO installations take 2–3 hours on site. We include setup of the filter housing, storage tank, dedicated faucet, drain saddle, and (if desired) refrigerator line.

Pricing Range

How much does a reverse osmosis system cost in the Phoenix Valley?

Every job is a little different. The final price depends on the condition of your system, the scope of the work, and the parts required. That said, here's an honest starting range so you can plan. We'll always walk you through the full estimate before any work begins, and the price you see is the price you pay.

Low: $700

Average: $800

High: $1,500

Honest range based on real recent jobs. Final price is locked in during your on-site diagnostic — what you see is what you pay.

What factors affect the cost of reverse osmosis systems?

  1. System stages and filtration depth

4-stage systems cover standard filtration needs. 5-stage and higher systems add remineralization (restoring beneficial minerals after purification) and/or additional specialty stages. Tankless RO systems are a newer premium option — no storage tank, higher flow rate, slightly higher price.

  2. Whether you want a fridge line

Running RO water to your refrigerator's ice and water dispenser adds a small amount of tubing and a tee fitting. It's a popular option and inexpensive when added at the time of install (more complicated to add later).

  3. Under-sink space and mounting

Most kitchens have room for a standard RO system and storage tank under the sink. Tighter spaces may call for a slimmer tankless unit or a different storage configuration. We assess during the quote.

What to Expect

Our Process

The same three-step rhythm on every job. Diagnose first, price up front, then do the work and stand behind it.

1

Step 1: In-home consultation and water test

We verify the space under your sink, test your current water, and walk through which RO system best fits your household's drinking-water needs and budget.

2

Step 2: System recommendation and written quote

The quote covers the system, install, dedicated faucet, and any options (fridge line, remineralization stage). You see annual filter replacement costs so you can plan ongoing maintenance.

3

Step 3: Install, test, and orientation

Your installer mounts the system, connects the filter housings, dedicated faucet, and drain line, flushes the system per manufacturer spec, and verifies output quality with a TDS (total dissolved solids) meter. We walk you through filter-change intervals.

Testimonial

"Very easy to work with."

Very prompt in sending a technician - Jason - who did a great job explaining the RO system replacement and location. He had to source the system and came back a day early to replace the existing RO system, which was leaking. He looked for the best location for the system and completed the installation. Very happy with the new system. Very easy to work with the team at Superstition Plumbing. Thanks Jason!
