What we fix
Real problems, real fixes
A smart leak detection system monitors your home's water use around the clock and shuts off the water automatically the moment it detects a leak. Across the Valley, where higher municipal pressure and aging plumbing are both common, that's moved from a nice-to-have to a real safeguard. A growing number of insurance carriers now recommend or even require them, and some offer premium discounts for homes with automatic shut-off.
Scottsdale makes the case better than most. Plenty of homes here sit empty for stretches, whether it's due to winter residents, second homes, or frequent travelers. If a supply line or water heater connector fails while you're away, it can run for days before anyone notices. On the older end, in South Scottsdale and the pockets near Old Town, original copper and higher pressure put more strain on the system. On the newer side of town, the finishes a leak would ruin are exactly the ones you don't want to replace. A shutoff system covers all three.
We install these systems the right way: proper shutoff integration, pressure verification, and full app setup so they work from day one. If your home needs a supporting piece, most often a pressure-regulating valve (PRV) to prevent false alerts or missed events, we handle that too. Once it's in, we can provide documentation for your insurance carrier.
